Aladino Vintage Selection Elegante (Lancero) Cigar Review
Aladino is one of the hottest brands on the planet, and in 2019 Aladino released the Aladino Vintage Selection Rothschild which includes Corojo binder and fillers are grown at the company’s farm, Finca Corojo in Danli, Honduras. The cigar was met with such incredible fanfare that this limited edition has been expanded into a limited production line with two new sizes, a 6 x 50 Toro and a 7 x 38 Elegante Lancero. According to the company, the cigars are a throwback to the golden era of Cuban cigars which were made with the same components that make up the blend of the Aladino Vintage Selection. Today we take a look at the Elegante size which is a 7 x 38 lancero.

JRE Tobacco Co. has added two cigars to the Aladino Vintage Selection, a brand that until recently only had one size. The new smokes, Toro and Elegante, began shipping earlier this month, joining the existing Rothschild.
Covered in a Cuban-seed Criollo wrapper from Honduras, the Aladino Vintage Selection was created last year by JRE to fill a gap in the Aladino portfolio, which already had other popular wrapper varietals such as Connecticut, Cameroon and Corojo. The rest of the Vintage Selection blend consists of Corojo leaf. All the tobacco was grown on the JRE family farms in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras. According to the company, the tobaccos have been aged three to five years.

Charles Krug Winery is excited to announce that its recent lot of library wines raised $10,000 in the Premiere Napa Valley Auction. On February 20th, Charles Krug joined a list of nearly 100 exclusive library wine lots up for virtual auction, replacing the traditional Premiere Napa Valley event that has taken place in February for the previous 40 years.
The Charles lot featured six decades of Vintage Selection Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery, an iconic label from the region. First made in 1944 by Peter and Robert Mondavi at Charles Krug, the Vintage Selection Cabernet has since represented the finest grapes from the extensive vineyard holdings of the Mondavi family. The following bottles were included in the lot:
