The warning is specifically for interior Northern California including Solano County and dry north winds and warming temperatures are expected to enhance fire danger in the region. According to Meteorologist Rob Mayeda, the red flag warning will causing dry, breezy and warmer at times on inland hills Monday. An unusually cold storm will drop out of the Gulf of Alaska bringing increasing wind and shower chances during the day Monday. Expect highs in the 50s through midweek (average highs are in the low 60s this time of year) with showers likely increasing by Monday evening and more intense and widespread showers likely on Tuesday.
