The biggest local crime story of the year was right at the beginning: a double homicide in Concord Township.

Rogowski retired about two years ago, after working 22 years as the city of Willoughby s finance director.
Under his direction, the city s Finance Department was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. Rogowski also served as president of the Ohio Association of Public Treasurers and the Municipal Finance Officers Association.
