Burlington woman sentenced for drug trafficking The Hawk Eye DAVENPORT A Burlington woman charged with illegal drug distribution in 2019 learned her sentence on Wednesday.  Pamela Sue Hester, 59, of Burlington was ordered to serve 130 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.  The case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.  The investigation began in 2018 when law enforcement learned of Hester being a distributor of methamphetamine in the Burlington area.  In February 2019, Hester was arrested on a warrant and officers located 58 grams of methamphetamine and $764 that was co-mingled with proceeds for drug trafficking in her possession.
