Top 9 things to look forward to in Worcester when lockdown ends

The pubs were able to reopen, at least for a short time, last year. However, the same cannot be said for nightclubs which have been forced to close their doors since March of last year. What we wouldn’t give for a night out in Tramps or Bushwackers now- even if we do regret it the next morning. Watching a show at the theatre When lockdown is over, we can all once again enjoy a show at the theatre. From pantomimes to live music, we will be eager to book it all just so we can get out of the house and get away from  a screen for a while.

Worcester Festival: plans already being put in place

Pretty hard to take, but what can you do? Bring on the vaccine, I say. We are now turning our attention to the Worcester Festival in August. It seems a long way off, but in terms of planning, it’ll be on us before we know it. At this stage, we are assuming that the festival will be able to run pretty much as it normally did pre-Covid, with loads of exciting live events. We learnt from the 2020 Festival (which ran and was hugely successful despite Covid) that virtual events are very popular and attracted a much wider audience from all over the country and even some interest from Australia. We shall therefore be doing lots of those whatever the position is about live events.
