Jackie Joseph, who has worked as the executive pastry chef at the Louisville Omni Hotel and The Brown Hotel, is competing in the upcoming season of Food Network s Best Baker in America.
She ll join a batch of nine other world-class bakers to battle it out on season four which premieres at 9 p.m. Monday.
This season’s baking challenges focus on creating unique versions of a variety of classic American desserts. Each of the 10 contestants is from a different state and Joseph, who grew up in Eastern Kentucky and now calls Louisville home, has a distinct advantage in the first challenge.
