The No. 12 St. John Fisher women’s lacrosse head coach Linda Michele boasts an impressive coaching resume. She began her coaching career at the high school level with her most notable stint coming at East Rochester High School where she guided her team to four Section V Championships, three New York State Final appearances, and amassed a record of 160-40 over 13 years. She broke into the college coaching scene in 2010 where she guided The College of Brockport to their first NCAA appearance in her inaugural season.
Now in her eighth year at the helm for the Cardinals, Michele has transformed the program. She has led her squad to eight-straight Empire 8 Championships and eight appearances in the NCAA Tournament. The 2019 campaign was the best in program history as the team recorded the most wins in a single season (19) against just two losses.

Alan Scott Wilson, age 69, beloved husband of Karen A. Michel of Seymour, died peacefully on January 29, 2021, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home. Born in New Haven on June 27, 1951, he was the son of the late Louis and Enid Burz Wilson. Mr. Wilson was raised in Ansonia and was a graduate of Ansonia High School. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, as well as a member of the David S. Miles Post, American Legion, Oxford. Mr. Wilson worked as a tractor trailer driver for the RiteWay Express Co., as well as other trucking companies, and prior to his illness, drove for Estes Expresslines for 13 years. He loved camping and, for 20 years, maintained a seasonal campsite at the Lone Oak Campground of East Canaan, CT. Together with his wife, Karen, they enjoyed many memorable cruises, Caribbean trips and visits to Central and South America.
