The Loyola Greyhounds who were ranked No. 13 in the preseason, struggled to a dramatic season-opening win at Richmond on Valentine’s Day, played well in a loss to Virginia, had not won three-straight games all season and lost back-to-back contests to Army and Navy in mid-April those Loyola Greyhounds are peaking at the right time.
Thanks to a 16-9 win over Navy in the Patriot League Quarterfinals Tuesday night at the Ridley Athletic Complex, the Hounds have won three in a row (including last Thursday’s win over then-No. 6 Georgetown) and take on the Black Knights in the conference semifinals on Friday at Lehigh.
