PDM story is over now: Governor Staff Report
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that the political story of PDM parties has come to an end and all their conspiracies will fail.
The PDM should wait for the general elections instead of marching on the streets because the Long March will not end the government and Imran Khan will be the Prime Minister of Pakistan till 2023. He was addressing an event and talking to the media on the occasion of inauguration of Rescue 1122 Center at Pir Mahal on Saturday. Vice-President PTI Chaudhry Ishfaq, MPA Syed Ahmad Saadi, MNA Riaz Fatyana, DG Rescue 1122 Dr Rizwan Naseer were present among others.

These ventilators, known as Umbulizers, have been developed by Pakistani students at Harvard, MIT, and Boston University, and have received an emergency use authorization from the USFDA. Umbulizer’s are reliable, simple to operate, and portable that is designed to fulfill the need for life-saving ventilators.
Commenting on the generous initiative of ABF, Dr. Rizwan Naseer, Director General Rescue 1122 said, “I would like to thank ABF and others involved in the donation drive of critically needed Umbulizers for an urgent response to the rising COVID-19. crisis in Pakistan. During the current pandemic, health measures are a priority for the Punjab government and together we hope to overcome the crisis at hand effectively.”

Islamabad : Need, importance, and effectiveness of trained volunteers in various walks of life was highlighted at a national seminar organised by Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Pakistan to mark the International Volunteers Day.
The event was attended by government officials, UN agencies, civil society organizations, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Punjab Emergency Services Rescue 1122, Ministry of Human Rights, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), Parliamentarians Commission on Human Rights (PCHR), Potohar Mental Health Association (PMHA), AwazCDS-Pakistan, Pakistan Development Alliance, Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), and other civil society organizations.
Metro train Lahore, a gift from China

Pakistan s first ever metro train service, the Orange Line, starts its commercial operation in Lahore on October 26.
South Asia s first electric train is up and running in Lahore, Pakistan, bringing hi-tech rail travel to the city of more than 12 million people. The Orange Line Metro Train, (OLMT Lahore project) is a gift from the Chinese to the Pakistani people, Chinese Consul General Lahore, Long Dingbin, told China Today.
OLMT Lahore, constructed and operated with Chinese technology, was put into operation on October 25, as a project of the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), an iconic and mega-funded development venture of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Inaugural ceremonies for Pakistan s first ever metro train service took place simultaneously in Lahore and Beijing.
