Matt Turner and Tajon Buchanan are set to return from CONCACAF Gold Cup duty as the New England Revolution seek to avenge an early-season loss against visiting Nashville SC on Wednesday night in Foxborough, Mass.
Turner, who served as the starting goalkeeper for the Gold Cup champion U.S. Men s National Team, took home the Gold Cup Best Goalkeeper Award after allowing a tournament-low one goal and preserving five clean sheets over six games.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Buchanan earned the Gold Cup Young Player Award after totaling one goal and two assists for Canada s men s national team. Revolution defender Henry Kessler also represented the USMNT as a mid-tournament addition.
