On Thursday, 737 new
COVID cases were reported in Pune district, taking the total to 3,67,488, said the officials. The virus claimed seven lives. The death toll stands at 8,880. Also, 689 patients recovered from the disease. So far, 3,53,070 have battled the infection. Among the new cases, 387 are in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limits, 146 in Pimpri-Chinchwad, 151 in Pune rural and 53 in cantonment board areas
There are 2,678 active COVID cases in PMC limits out of which 202 are critical. On Thursday, as many as 5,043 tests were conducted by PMC, taking the cumulative total to 9.46 lakh, said Dr Ashish Bharti, PMC health chief. ....
