While we knew we needed to get a reveal of how the Children of the Atom came to be, this issue wasn’t almost all talking heads and no real in-costume action (#DecompressedStoryTelling). Also, the past and present, particularly the present aka “now”, was as an odd presentation since isn’t the present the kids in costumes and super-powered from the last few issues? The end with presumably Gimmick getting her powers seems odd unless this is her
