A new court date has been set for one of two friends, who saw their argument turn violent.
In March of last year, Yorkton RCMP were called to a west-end bar, on a report of a man suffering from a stab wound.
The investigation led them to a home on Franklin Avenue, where they found another man, with facial injuries.
Sidney Brandon is charged with aggravated assault, and had his matter adjourned until May 28th in Yorkton Provincial Court.

A man who used to teach in Wynyard and Foam Lake has been sentenced to 609 days in jail for sexually assaulting three students in the 1990s.
Gerard Loehr, 58, was sentenced Friday in Yorkton Provincial Court.
He initially was facing five counts of sexual assault and six counts of sexual interference relating to incidents that occurred in the province between 1990 and 1996. He was found guilty on three counts of sexual assault Nov. 13 in Wynyard Provincial Court.
In addition to the jail sentence, Loehr also was ordered to give a DNA sample and to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Judge Lloyd Stang applied the 21-day credit to a 630-day sentence.
Two of the victims, who cannot be identified due to a court-ordered publication ban, read their impact statements in court to Loehr, who also attended in person.
One woman recounted how he, during private music lessons, would stand behind her to give instructions, while rubbing her lower back and buttocks areas with his groin, sometimes with an erection. He also touched her breasts while standing behind her.
She was 11 years old the first time Loehr assaulted her.
She described how her teacher “groomed” her to make her feel special, via the one-on-one instructions and his praise of her musical skills.

According to an RCMP news release, the Saskatchewan Major Crimes Unit South and members of the Yorkton RCMP arrested Severight without incident on the Cote First Nation on March 12.
