Yanmar announces new UK sales team appointment
Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA has appointed Anthony Kinder to the role of UK Area Sales Manager (North). With significant expertise in sales and account management, Anthony is set to bring a new strategic approach to the region.
With 25 years’ experience in the construction and plant hire sectors, Anthony is widely regarded for his ability to build lasting customer relationships. Before joining Yanmar, Anthony held the role of UK Sales Manager at Arden Equipment. His extensive career also includes time at Nixon Plant Hire, Doosan, Bobcat, Ardent Hire Solutions and Ashtead Plant Hire.
Intent on building upon Yanmar’s growth, exploring new market opportunities and expanding the brand’s presence in the UK and Ireland, Anthony’s skills and insights will prove invaluable. Yanmar Compact Equipment announced the introduction of five new dealers to its network.
The company added Carrollton, Texas-based ROMCO Equipment Company with eight locations; Corona, Calif.-based Volvo Construction Equipment & Services with six locations; Montgomery, Ala.-based Stone Equipment Company with one location; Bremerton, Wash.-based Sherlock Equipment Sales with one location; and Wenatchee, Wash.-based Rowe’s Tractor with one location.
“Dealers are absolutely vital to our success,” says Jeff Pate, Yanmar Compact Equipment North America director of sales. “As the first point of contact with the end user, we need to be able to trust that our dealers have a passion for the Yanmar brand and what it stands for.
