Updated: 11:33 AM EDT Jun 9, 2021 WXII12.com Web Staff North Carolina authorities took a man into custody who allegedly broke into several occupied homes, assaulted residents and stole items, all while not wearing any clothes.Police said the homes were broken into on Sunday in West Asheville.Officers originally said they found a person matching the description of the man but he ran away.On Tuesday, police said, thanks to a tip on the TIP2ADP app, detectives identified the naked prowler as James Pickard.In each of these cases, residents were assaulted and had items stolen from their homes, police said. WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A man who allegedly broke into a farm facility building and stole gas on February 2 was also accused of secretly peeping on and exposing himself to a female farm employee on Sunday January 31, 2021.
Jerome Omar Davis, a 40-year-old resident of Sampson County, was terminated after the employee reported the incident to her supervisors and was arrested for the offenses of Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering. He was also arrested for the following misdemeanors: Second-Degree Trespassing, Indecent Exposure and Secret Peeping.
