ASH GROVE, Mo. – Whether you’re a waterfowl hunter or a quail hunter, the ability to hit a target in flight is the difference between a good day and one in which you come home empty-handed. People interested in getting tips on improving their wingshooting ability should plan to attend the July 17 Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) clinic “Learning to Shoot: Wingshooting for the Hunter” at MDC’s Andy Dalton Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center. This free clinic, which will consist of a classroom and a hands-on shooting portion, will be from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. The Dalton Range is located near Ash Grove at 4897 N. Greene County Farm Road 61.
