To say or think that Ayessha Quraishi is simply an artist who creates abstract art is a disservice to her. From her early drawings and doodles that began in the mid-1980s, to muted oils on paper last year, Quraishi has shown us much that we may possibly expect from an inventive, contemporary artist.
Her intelligent body of abstract art is chemical, to say the least, for it continues to transmute during an ongoing career that spans over three decades. Readers, collectors and art enthusiasts can now observe the trajectory of her art practice in the limited-edition print monograph Ayessha Quraishi: Between Light, Works: 1985-2020.
Raaz-e-Ulfat to reveal Mushk s final decision tonight
Raaz-e-Ulfat’s second last episode has hinted at many things that can possibly happen in the finale, which is slated to air tonight at 8:00 p.m.
Initially starring Yumna Zaidi and Shehzad Sheikh as the lead characters Mushk and Irtiza, Gohar Rasheed’s character as Ismail also rose to prominence in the past few episodes.
Ismail’s patience and wisdom won him a special place in Mushk’s family, but to Mushk, he’s nothing more than someone she immensely respects. Mushk has been caring for him, his children and his mentally-unstable sister, but when it comes to love, her heart belongs to her former lover Irtiza.
Mushk is now stuck with a life-changing decision to make
The antagonist in drama serial Raaz-e-Ulfat is out of the way. After Sehba murdered Nomi for revenge, she, too, didn’t survive the head injury she got in the act.
Sehba already had her bad days going on with Irtiza’s refusal to marry her. Just when her mother came to comfort her, Irtiza’s mother called them to decline the proposal and told them how Nomi’s guard has revealed the stunt Sehba and Nomi had pulled off to sabotage Mushk’s wedding.
This fumed Sehba to an extent that she stormed to Nomi’s house and fired a gun at him but Nomi also manages to retaliate before he’s killed. Laying in her deathbed, Sehba insists to see Mushk and Irtiza one last time to seek forgiveness.
