Leon County School Board denied the Red Hills application Tuesday, they are looking into appealing the decision.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — I couldn t make an investment of both time and resources to take away from our public schools, said Leon County School Board Vice-Chair Darryl Jones.
Jones is one of three board members who voted against the Red Hills Academy opening in the Fall of 2022.
He says with five operating charter schools already in Leon County, he can t see the value of adding another one right now. ....

LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson denied on Wednesday media reports that he had said he would rather bodies piled “high in their thousands” than order a third coronavirus lockdown.
Asked by opposition Labour leader Keir Starmer whether he made the comments, Johnson told parliament: “No,” and called on Starmer to substantiate the allegations.
He has earlier denied saying the words reported by several media organisations.

Indian news organisations have highlighted speculation of Pakistan s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi meeting his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar in the UAE, despite Pakistan s denial of any meeting scheduled between the two. 
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived in the UAE on Saturday where he is expected to hold talks with his counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other UAE dignitaries.

Parole denied for Denair killer
A Denair man has again been denied parole for a 1991 murder because of a high-risk assessment.
Andrew Rick Lopez, of Denair, was found unsuitable for parole during an April 2, hearing of the State Board of Parole Hearings held at Pelican Bay Prison in Crescent City, California. Deputy District Attorney Monroe Tyler appeared at the hearing on behalf of the People.
On June 26, 1991, Lopez approached James Turnbough from behind and stabbed him 13 times in the back, stomach and chest after an earlier argument. Lopez later bragged about the conduct to one of the witnesses in the case. At the time, Lopez had just been released from prison and was wanted for absconding from parole supervision. ....
