Posted on January 26th, 2021 Courtesy Hiru News The deceased has been identified as a 71 year old frmale residing in Ragama. She was diagnosed while receiving treatment at the Welisara Base Hospital, and transferred to the National Infectious Diseases Unit. A statement issued by the Government Information Department states that the she died at the hospital on the 26th. The causes of death include hemorrhagic shock and covid pneumonia.
