Notre Dame has offered one of the nation s premier 2023 players, Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage wide receiver
Brandon Inniss.
Inniss is ranked as the nation s No. 4 overall player by Rivals and the No. 10 player by 247Sports. Both outlets rank him as the nation s best wideout after he hauled in 28 passes for 637 yards (22.8 YPC) and five touchdowns in just eight games this past season.
Inniss attended University School in Fort Lauderdale in 2020, but he played for TRU Prep Academy in 2020 after University School canceled its season due to Covid-19 fears. Inniss has since transferred to American Heritage, one of the top programs in the state.

This free program is open to any current pre-kindergarten and kindergarten English Language Learner student from any SAISD elementary schools. This program will focus on developing your student’s literacy skills through reading, writing, listening and speaking. Registration must be completed by Friday, May 14, 2021.

The annual summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) camp is back. A hands-on opportunity to explore robotics, create their own code, or design in the Makerspace this fun camp is open to all currently enrolled SAISD incoming 2nd-5th graders.
A local high school is earning top marks in a respected nationwide survey

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – U.S. News & World Report is out with its annual rankings of best high schools.
The School for Advanced Studies (SAS) is ranked #5 on the list of 17,857 high schools nationwide. SAS, which has five campuses in Miami-Dade County, is recognized for giving students the opportunity to take Advanced Placement coursework. 96% of students enrolled in the school take the AP classes, that earn them college credits. The report says the total minority enrollment at SAS is 87%, and 43% of students are economically disadvantaged.
Other local high schools ranking high on the nationwide list: the Archimedean Upper Conservatory Charter School in Miami at #63, the Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH) at #65 and iPrep Academy at #72.
