Packaging Substrate / Materials: Cardboard Eggo is a playful and fun brand that strives to create a unique breakfast experience for kids. Promoting ideas and play for children of all ages. This packaging and identity design was inspired by Eleven’s love for Eggos from the Netflix Original Series, Stranger Things. The letters are treated in an upside down, backwards, rotating treatment. Allowing for a more interchangeable style. The “e” and “g” are the same shape which allows for a rotating and playful experience within the typography. And then I literally just ran with this playful mindset! Envisioning how this would look for this well-known household brand and how one could play with Eggo. ....

Printing Process: Offset, embossing, high build, spot gloss and matt varnishes Label & Litho Printing in New Zealand were after a clever label concept to showcase their new repositionable label technology, along with a Season’s Greetings message to send to clients. After a terrible year due to the global Covid pandemic, we wanted to create something lighthearted that lifted spirits a little and, given the fact the labels could be easily removed and replaced on the bottle, something interactive. We found a simple link with noughts and crosses also being hugs and kisses. ....

The brand launched in January this year with a product range including lipsticks, concealer, powders, and cheek tints. Most notably, the brand uses a smart refillable and reusable system to minimise wastage and reduce plastic consumption. The brand was founded by Asha Jindal Khaitan and her daughter-in-law Sukriti Jindal Khaitan. Asha is a veteran in the health and beauty industry, who co-founded the nutraceutical brand Pure Nutrition.
