Beloved macaroni and cheese utopia, Mad Mac, announced the closure of their brick and mortar location via Facebook on Thursday morning. Like so many other local businesses, they ve had a hard time finding enough employees to staff both the restaurant location and their incredibly popular food truck. In the post, the owners explained that using the staff they do have to staff the food truck is a better use of their resources. They re excited to get the truck out into more locations around the Treasure Valley and will share their schedule via their social media pages frequently. ....

It s causing them to adjust their store hours or closed on certain days during the week. Rhi Hoisington opened Mad Mac, a macaroni and cheese restaurant, a little more than three years ago at the Boise Spectrum Center. âI owned Mad Mac for five years and we started out with the food truck,â Hoisington said.
