New HOPE Outdoor Gallery Opening Date Delayed, Won t Open This Summer

KUT One graffiti wall is left standing at the original HOPE Outdoor Gallery location in Castle Hill on Thursday. The site is being demolished to make way for a condo development. The new gallery is an 18-acre open-air cultural center near the airport that will feature art exhibits, practice paint walls and food and beverage options. The site is a revamped version of the Castle Hill graffiti park, which launched in 2011 and quickly became an Austin icon. The park closed in 2019 to make way for condos.
