A former juvenile detention officer was arrested Tuesday after being indicted of seriously injuring a child who was being detained in 2019, according to the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office.
Ramon Montanya, 31, is accused of using excessive force when he grabbed and pulled a 13-year-old’s arm on June 30, 2019, while the child was at the Bexar County Juvenile Detention Center.
