LiveWire Sparks Harleyâs Electric Dreams Again
The American cruiser giant has launched LiveWire as a separate brand
Harley-Davidson has announced its second sub-brand LiveWire. The company revealed the logo of the new venture and announced that the first LiveWire-branded product will be revealed on July 8.
It is no secret that Harley-Davidson has been in troubled water for the last few years.

Buell Motorcycles is back in action after a dozen-year hiatus with plans to roll out 10 performance bikes by 2024.
Buell Motorcycles launched production in Grand Rapids, promising to deliver 10 performance models by the 2024 model year that will include variants for dirt, dual-sport, touring and cruisers while expanding the lineup to include medium and small displacement motors. The company also is exploring a high-performance electric model and is “open to collaboration ideas with other companies.”
The models currently in production are being built by hand in Grand Rapids and based on the high-performance 1190 platform.

Last week’s announcement of the Buell Motorcycles revival caused a lot of emotion. Although mostly out from the public eye for quite some time now, the name is still entrenched enough in the public consciousness to hint that, had it not been for Harley-Davidson’s poor choices a decade ago, would have been a big player in the industry by now. 1 photo
The revival of the moniker is fueled by the company holding control over it, Liquid Asset Partners (LAP). The comeback was announced by LAP’s Bill Melvin, who hinted at the revival and a flood of no fewer than ten models over the next three years. Those are said to range from dirt to touring bikes, and from dual-sport to cruisers. There s possibly even an electric two-wheeler in the cards.
Harley-Davidson’s Pan America has been a long time coming, now debuted in the flesh, the American equivalent will set the likes of the BMW GS 1250 in its sights as it looks to take on the ever growing adventure tourer space.

The ‘Buell’ moniker is making headlines again. This time, the American motorcycle brand is all set to make a strong comeback, announcing the launch of as many as 10 motorcycles by 2024. Led by Bill Melvin, CEO of Buell Motorcycles, the brand intends to explore newer territories.
Buell’s New Bikes
This time around, Buell’s portfolio will include cruisers, dirt bikes, dual-sport, and touring-oriented machines like the XB12X. While there is no word on whether the brand will continue with the same V-Twin layout, it intends to introduce medium and small-displacement motorcycles.
