Specialist insurance and reinsurance broker BMS has launched a new platform - Pathlight Analytics. The platform is designed to harness the collective power of the analytics disciplines to better assist clients with examining, analysing and interpreting data as it pertains to their specific capital and risk transfer goals and objectives.
The platform works across both insurance and reinsurance. Its release is part of a strategic build-out of analytics thought leadership and proprietary solutions from BMS and follows the appointment of Kirk Conrad as the global head of analytics for BMS.

Eastern Bay leaders are stoked with how the Whakatāne and Ōpōtiki communities reacted to Friday s tsunami threat.
East Coast MP and Emergency Management Minister Kiri Allan along with Whakatāne and Ōpōtiki mayors Judy Turner and Lyn Riesterer were impressed with how quickly communities evacuated and the compassion shown for others during the long hours waiting on the all clear .
