Courtesy of Sizer School FITCHBURG To end the school year, Sizer School Senior English Teacher and Literacy Specialist Peter Nelson decided to do something a little different. “Engagement among my seniors in English 12 has been a challenge as the year comes to a close,” said Nelson. “So, for the final four weeks of my English 12 class I am doing something a bit unconventional: We are focusing on what it means to turn 18 in Massachusetts (i.e., reaching the age of legal adulthood). I invited speakers with relevant expertise to speak remotely to my English 12 classes.” To prepare for each session, Nelson had students research their speaker or the topic of the session.

44 years in ministry – a quiet Australian

Tweed Heads Mark and Delma Tronson’s relocated to Tweed Heads in December 2005 – as Chairman of Well-Being Australia. He coordinated respite for the AIS SE Qld Sport Units athletes with the Domain Resort at Cabarita, Tweed Coast. Dr Mark Tronson bought the young writer ministry into fruition in 2008 in conjunction with Christian Today – an online international daily Christian News and Comment. Today there are 110 young people (18-30) who write a monthly Comment column from Australia, New Zealand and Internationals. He was the Australian Olympic Chaplain in 1984 and subsequently appointed the Olympic chaplains and in 2000 IOC Vice President Kevan Gosper AC sent Dr Tronson to the IOC in Lausanne Switzerland to assist staff develop the Transfer of Knowledge of Religious Services for Olympic Host Cities.
