Bestselling author Paulette Jiles to discuss News of the World July 27 with Gail Borden

On Tuesday, July 27, Gail Borden Public Library s One Book, One Community initiative will present A Conversation with Paulette Jiles, bestselling author of News of the World at 7 p.m.
The book was chosen for the library s first One Book, One Community program taking place now through August. Registration for the online discussion can be found atgailborden.info.
Jiles will talk about the research and history she delved into for the book, from the Civil War to 19th-century Texas culture to the subject of captives held by the Kiowa and Comanche tribes.
