Gramophone Classical Music Awards – are giving music lovers another chance to watch a historic concert.
Filmed in an empty Verizon Hall on March 12, 2020, the concert was the last time the entire Philadelphia Orchestra performed together before the pandemic put an end to all public concerts. The orchestra’s Music Director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, conducted Beethoven’s Symphonies Nos 5 and 6 (

SOUTH African Traditional Music Awards founder Dumisani Goba has turned his rural home into a hotel.
The house, which boasts 27 rooms, a boardroom, swimming pool and a gym, is located in Ndwedwe Village, near Durban.
It’s the first hotel in the village.
After he stepped down as organiser of the awards, which he’d been doing for 15 years, he decided to open the hotel with eMkhosini Resorts.
Dumisani said it was a long-time dream to open a hotel in his rural village and develop tourism in the area.
