Nearly 300 days have passed since the Warriors’ last game. In that time, Golden State lost Klay Thompson to a season-ending torn right Achilles tendon, took James Wiseman No. 2 in the NBA draft, traded for Kelly Oubre Jr. and bolstered its bench with a couple free-agency signings.
Such developments have made it tricky for pundits to predict what the Warriors will do this season. In its nationally televised season opener Tuesday against Kevin Durant and the Nets, Golden State will provide some clarity into what its ceiling might be.
