While we’ve been scraping and hoping for any new information we can get on upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusives, Horizon Forbidden West has been one of the rare games that keeps on giving. We recently got a huge reveal of gameplay in the game which showed a lot of details regarding exploration, environmental interaction, stealth, and combat. More recently, though, Head of PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst spoke to multiple subjects regarding upcoming PlayStation news and in that, he revealed that he believes Horizon Forbidden West is on track for a holiday 2021 release.
Hulst revealed this tidbit of information in a recent Q&A post on the PlayStation blog on June 2, 2021. In the post, Hulst goes over a number of subjects regarding upcoming PS4 and PS5 games, but notably, he spoke to the matter of Horizon Forbidden West and when players can expect it. According to Hulst, Guerrilla Games is on good pace to get the game out by the holidays this year.

For a long time, the company has collected bad results in other departments but very positive ones from the PlayStation division. The company has the PS5 as one of its key products for the near future and consequently, the games produced by the PlayStation studios will be a determining point that will count in favor of its console. However, the company also wants to expand the accessibility to acclaimed titles. After bringing Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone to PC, the Japanese firm will bring Uncharted 4 to the platform.
PlayStation Studios Steam Page Is Live With 41 Games/DLC Listed, Suggesting More PC Ports in the Works

PlayStation Studios is now officially a part of the Steam curator community with its own dedicated page.
“PlayStation Studios is home to the development of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s own outstanding and immersive games, including some of the most popular and critically acclaimed titles in entertainment history,” reads an official introduction.
As spotted by ResetEra user dex3108, PlayStation Studios page lists 41 games and downloadable content in its “About” section, only half of which are visible.

Lost Judgment, the action-based sequel to
