Texas Department of State Health Services allocated vaccines to 8 providers are in Travis County.
Travis County has received a total of 73,175 doses of the vaccine overall..14,650 were sent to Travis County this week.

HOUSTON – Shipments of coronavirus vaccine that dozens of providers across Texas were expecting to arrive Monday has been delayed by a day, and some of those providers are in the Houston area.
According to the Department of State Health Services, officials got word Monday that federal shipments of the vaccine that were ordered Friday would be delayed until Tuesday.
The shipments were destined to 55 of the 263 designated providers across the state. Six of them are in the Houston area.

Houston Health Department, partners announce free COVID-19 testing schedule for week of January 4

HOUSTON - The Houston Health Department and its agency partners are announcing the schedule for sites offering free COVID-19 tests the week of January 4, 2020. Twenty-four FREE+FAST+SAFE testing sites across Houston are on the schedule for the week. The Aldine area will benefit from two COVID-19 testing sites set up this week by the Houston Health Department and Harris County Public Health. The zip code 77037 within Aldine remains among the 15 Houston zip codes with the highest COVID-19 positivity rate.
