19-year-old shot in York this week: police Updated May 05, 2021; A 19-year-old man was injured in one of two shootings in York this week, police said. York City police said the 19-year-old was shot around 7:15 p.m. Monday in a parking lot on the 900 block of Loucks Road. Police said they were told around 9:03 p.m. that he was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The shooting remains under investigation. No other information was immediately available. This was the first of two shootings in York this week. Police said a 41-year-old was shot in a home on the 300 block of Smyser Street around 11:25 p.m. Monday. They were pronounced dead at York Hospital at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
