(UPDATE) Suspect Named and Austin Murder Victim Identified Get our free mobile app Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect in an Austin murder case. Austin Police Chief David Mckichan says 27-year-old Me’Darian McGruder has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting last weekend. McGruder is accused of killing 20-year-old Tyesha Gills, who was found fatally wounded in a home in the 100 block of 10th Street Northwest in Austin around 2 AM Saturday. Officials have not released information about the circumstances of the Austin woman’s death or the evidence used to bring the murder charge against McGruder, whose whereabouts are unknown. Anyone with information about the suspect’s location is asked to contact the Austin Police Department.
