ROANOKE, Va. – We’re excited to announce that we’re in the running for three prestigious regional awards.
On Thursday night, the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter (NCCB) of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 63rd Capital Emmys.
This region covers television stations in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
MCM Nominated for 8 Capital Emmys Including Overall Excellence
Montgomery Community Media has been nominated for eight Capital Region Emmy Awards. The nominations were announced virtually Wednesday and Thursday evenings by the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
A breakdown of the nominations:
• Three nominations for MCM’s Black Artists in Montgomery County series
• Three for Hola Montgomery Spanish language feature stories
• Community Service Award for MCM’s #SeeMeMontgomery campaign
• Overall Excellence

ANNAPOLIS, MD (March 5, 2021) – Maryland Public Television’s (MPT) popular original series
Maryland Farm & Harvest, now in its eighth season, will feature farms and locations in Garrett, Harford, Prince George’s, and Queen Anne’s counties during an episode celebrating the “best of” eight seasons of the popular original series. The final episode of the season airs on Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Maryland Public Television’s (MPT) popular original series
Maryland Farm & Harvest, now in its eighth season, will feature farms and locations in Baltimore, Harford, and Worcester counties during a new episode airing on Tuesday, February 16 at 7 p.m.
Maryland Farm & Harvest has been taking viewers on journeys across the state since 2013, telling hundreds of stories about the farms, people, and technology required to sustain and grow agriculture in Maryland, the state’s number one commercial industry.
