Suspended senior member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Stephen Atubiga has officially resigned from the party.
He said he is running away from some party executives he described as vindictive and chameleon.
According to him, those executives are the real silent cancerous tumors who do not mean well for the NDC.
In a letter yet to be delivered to the party today, Stephen Atubiga indicates that it has always been the grand agenda of a clique of them to punish JDM as a payback time whilst the grassroots suffer in silence and hopelessness across the country.
He stated, “The vindictive and chameleon nature of some of these current National Executives of the NDC party and their appointed surrogates within the party headquarters carry themselves around as though seriously interested in JDM becoming a president again. They are the real silent cancerous tumors that must be purged from leadership positions in the coming NDC national executive elections if JDM

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo says his administration has concluded arrangements to engage the Man O’ War Nigeria to provide security and surveillance in primary and secondary schools in the state.
The governor made this known on Thursday in Ibadan when he received the National Executives of the Man O’ War Nigeria who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
He decried the recent trend of kidnapping of students, among other security challenges, which he described as worrisome.
