Missouri State’s men’s basketball program received a big dose of good news on Monday night when Gaige Prim announced he would be returning for another year.
The senior center is taking advantage of the NCAA’s decision to extend another year of eligibility to athletes who had their season impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prim made the announcement on MSU men’s head coach Dana Ford’s radio show with Hall of Fame broadcaster Art Hains.
Prim, the league’s current leading rebounder with 10 rebounds per game and 8th in scoring with 14.6 points per game, will not count against MSU’s scholarship amounts for the 2021-2022 season.
