PEOPLE have flocked to a Bury road this Christmas in search of something a little brighter than the Star of Bethlehem. Janice Hallam and neighbour Jean Ann Hill have worked together to create the most festive display in Bury – with lights and decorations set up for passersby to enjoy. The pair have been decorating their homes, on Birks Drive, Brandlesholme, together for the last 20 years, but after the coronavirus pandemic, and complications from an operation, they decided to up the ante this year. Mrs Hallam said: With this year being the way it is we thought we would go all out.
