LAS VEGAS (AP) - Neemias Queta recorded 18 points and 13 rebounds as No. 2 seed Utah State rolled past No. 7 seed UNLV 74-53 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference Tournament on Thursday night. Marco Anthony added 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Aggies.
Queta shot 10 for 12 from the line. He added three blocks.
Rollie Worster had 14 points, eight assists and six rebounds for Utah State (19-7), which will face the Colorado State-Fresno State winner on Friday. Justin Bean added 10 points.

The No. 5-seeded Nevada Wolf Pack take on No. 4 Boise State in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Tournament Thursday at 2:30 p.m. PST on CBS Sports Network. It will be the first tournament game for both teams, who earned a first-round bye.
The Pack enter the game at 15-9 and 10-7 in conference play, while Boise State is 18-7 and 14-6 in Mountain West action.
Nevada swept the Broncos in its two meetings on Feb. 5-7. It won its two contests by 2-and-11 points. The former featured a game-winning fadeaway from guard Grant Sherfield in the waning seconds.

A pair of Nevada men’s basketball guards, Grant Sherfield and Desmond Cambridge, earned All-Mountain West honors, the conference announced Monday.
Sherfield, in his first season with the Wolf Pack after transferring from Wichita State last spring, was dubbed the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year and was named to the All-Mountain West first team, while Cambridge was named to the All-Mountain West third team.
Voters of the conference were asked to vote on conference-only statistics. In 17 conference games, Sherfield led the Mountain West in both scoring (18.2 ppg) and assists (6.6 apg), shooting 42.6 percent from the floor, 32.6 percent from the 3-point line and 88.8 percent from the free-throw line. He finished T-4 with UNLV’s Bryce Hamilton and Cheikh Mbacke-Diong in steals (1.5 spg) in such games.
