Here’s a fun piece of drama for those who like the plot and intrigue of Wicked’s lushly produced titles in that genre. Holly Randall brings us the story of Evelyn (Kenna James) who is a mousy editor by day but also an author of steamy novels under the name Maxine Powers. This ruse works well until hot novelist Drew (Damon Dice) signs to her publishing company, requiring frumpy Evelyn to transform into Maxine to get his attention and boost her own career from editing other people’s stuff to writing her own. A co-worker who is jealous threatens to expose Evelyn/Maxine, so she needs to be careful.
