Michael Tarver, best known for his stint as a member of the original Nexus, stopped by VOC Nation’s Talkin Sass podcast to talk his WWE career. Tarver recounted getting signed following driving to New York for a tryout. “I had only worked for about four years on the indies before I got my contract,” Tarver said. “Drew Taylor and I got in a car from Youngstown (Ohio) and drove up to Rochester, NY for a tryout at a Smackdown taping. Jason Jordan Gets Big WWE Promotion, New Roles For Adam Pearce And John Cone (Photo Credit: WWE) Jason Jordan reportedly has a new role within WWE with bigger responsibilities. As we’ve noted, WWE recently made several changes to several departments, including Talent Relations. John Laurinaitis took control of the department earlier this year, moving up from his role as Lead Producer. In an update, word now via PWInsider is that Jordan has taken over Laurinaitis’ former role as Lead Producer. Jordan now oversees all other WWE producers at TV tapings.
