DOVER – In 1977, Jason Lindahl was 6 years old, growing up in South Berwick, Maine. His father gave him a dollar bill to spend at a flea market, igniting a lifelong passion. I remember clearly, at the second table on the left hand side of the flea market was a little table selling military memorabilia and comic books, Jason Lindahl recalled. For $1, I could buy three comic books.
He has been hooked on collecting since that day, even when it wasn t the cool thing to do coming up in school as a rough and tough football player. Everything in my life revolves around comics, he said. It always has since the day I bought those first comics.

A plan to redevelop the site of the Mann Hopkins Cinema 6 into apartments and stores appears to be on hold.
Mann Theatres, a Twin Cities-based theater owner, announced last month that it was closing the six-screen theater, which had been a fixture on Main Street in Hopkins for 24 years.
And last week, the owner of the building, Beard Group Inc. in Hopkins, pulled back its plan to redevelop the site for a four-story apartment complex, with 131 units and retail on street level.
