Inside Gaming), each of which will have two YouTube influencers battling against each other in a cross-country grudge match featuring both real-world and gaming challenges. Every season will culminate with a scavenger hunt from the show floor of a major gaming or fanboy event, featuring participation from attendees.
Hutch Chamber to Host Legislative Forum on April 10

The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second Legislative Forum for the 2021 legislative session on Saturday, April 10 at Hutchinson’s Historic Fox Theatre, 18 E. 1st Avenue, Hutchinson. The event will also be live-streamed on the Hutch Chamber Facebook page.
U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall will begin the Legislative Forum at 9 a.m., which will give everyone a chance to hear about national-level issues that are being discussed.
Then from 9:30 – 11 a.m., the Reno County legislators will begin their dialogue about topics of interest here in Kansas.

Probst: A Pledge is more than words

I’m supposed to use this space to write about the goings-on of the Kansas Legislature. But if you’ll allow an indulgence, I’d like to touch on something different.
Each day’s session of the Kansas House begins with two familiar rituals - a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. After years of doing this - in the classroom, public events, and numerous meetings, reciting the Pledge can become just that - a recitation of words.
For some reason this week, the Pledge’s words didn’t just fall out of my mouth. This week the words remained awhile in my mind.
