Strictly Come Dancing bosses keen to sign up Ryan Thomas after marathon stint Mirror 9 hrs ago Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly eyeing up Ryan Thomas for the 2021 series line-up. The former Coronation Street actor has just completed 10 marathons in 10 days to raise money for a mental health charity.
BBC are said to be impressed with 36-year-old Ryan s efforts and are now keen to sign up him for the dancing show.
A source said: Ryan turned the show down last year as he didn t want to be apart from Lucy [Mecklenburgh, fiancé] and baby Roman for that long, but he s been offered a place again this year and he s considering it - once he s rested his aching feet that is.

Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas will be passing through Staffordshire today and Stoke-on-Trent tomorrow as part of his epic charity challenge.
The 36-year-old - who plays Jason Grimshaw in Corrie - is taking on a 262-mile walk from London to his home city of Manchester mainly via canal paths.
