Michael Douglas Coughlan, 74, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Graham Texas. A public visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. The family would like to welcome anyone who wishes to attend. Michael touched the lives of so many. Anyone wishing to say a few words during the service, are welcome to.
Michael was born on Dec. 30, 1946 in Merced, California to Bettye Mae Elkins and Charles McClain Coughlan. On Dec. 14, 1985, he married his high school sweetheart, Maggie Warren of Sonoma Ca. Together, the two created a beautiful family with seven wonderful children. He loved his family dearly and far surpassed any expectations one might hold for a man to be a loving husband and father.

BEFORE the installation of solar panels at Kamisamba Farm in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the property had no power source.
Electric lines did not extend from the town of Kamina, a little over four miles away. Even in Kamina, particularly during the rainy season, residents can go without electricity for a month or more.
Although the farm has a water source from wells dug a few years ago, without electricity, there was no way to pump the water to where it was needed.
“The solar project came at a crucial time,” Lorraine Charinda explained in an interview.
FAMILY: Jennie Phillips, new head at King’s Hawford, with her family A SCHOOL in Worcester has welcomed its first female headteacher. King’s Hawford has seen Jennie Phillips take up the role, also becoming the first woman in the school foundation’s 500 year history to occupy the position. Relocating from Monmouth to Worcester, she is joined by her husband Eddie and daughters Amelia and Daisy, who are joining King’s senior school. Like all heads at the school, the family will live on-site at Hawford. After taking the time to settle into their new home during the Easter holidays, Mrs Phillips said she is now looking forward to the start of a new term and officially taking over from retiring headteacher Jim Turner.
