ADA Asia and Warner Music partner with Vietnamese entertainment firm Yin Yang Media

Music Business Worldwide July 22, 2021 Huong Nguyen, CEO of Yin Yang Media Warner Music Group’s ADA Asia and Warner Music Vietnam have entered into a new partnership with one of Vietnam’s top aggregators and entertainment companies, Yin Yang Media. Yin Yang Media specializes in pop music and “many legendary Vietnamese tracks”, according to Warner. The company’s catalog includes more than 60,000 tracks. Under the new deal, Warner Music will be supporting and working with top Vietnamese stars such as Bích Phương, Dalab, Hà Anh Tuấn, Noo Phước Thịnh, Hoàng Dũng, and Phan Mạnh Quỳnh.

SEOUL .-Thaddaeus Ropac announced that the gallery will open a new location in Seoul, South Korea, with its inaugural exhibition taking place in early Autumn 2021. The inaugural exhibition will be announced in due course. Thaddaeus Ropac s new gallery will be located in Seoul s Hannam-dong district, in a 750sqm space on the first floor of the outstanding architectural landmark the Fort Hill building, awarded the Korean National Architecture Award 2011 and Seoul Architecture Award 2011 and designed by SAI architects, led by the celebrated Director Architect Prof. Juhwan Park. The bespoke gallery interior will be designed by acclaimed interior designer Teo Yang Studio to create a unique setting for the presentation and experience of exhibitions by the gallery s artists.

Located in Seoul s Hannam-dong district, the gallery will take over the first floor of the Fort Hill building, designed by Juhwan Park, which won both the Korean National Architecture Award and Seoul Architecture Award in 2011. Teo Yang Studio has been brought on by Ropac to design the interiors and the gallery will be led by Kyu Jin Hwang, Ropac s Asia director, who will continue to split her time between Seoul and London.

Thaddaeus Ropac is opening a new gallery in Seoul this October its first space in Asia.  It is the latest international gallery to put down roots in the South Korean capital, which is also home to outposts of Pace, Perrotin, Lehmann Maupin and König Galerie, among others.  Thaddaeus Ropac has taken a 750sqm space in the city s Hannam-dong district, which is emerging as a new art hub: Hannam-dong is also home to the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, Pace gallery and Phillips auction house. The gallery will be located on the ground floor of Fort Hill, a landmark building that won the Korean National Architecture Award 2011 and Seoul Architecture Award 2011. Acclaimed designer Teo Yang is overseeing a renovation of the interior.
