Pottawatomie County officials took the first step Monday toward a possible remodel or replacement of the Emmett Fire Station.
Fire Chief Jared Barnes presented a scope of work needing to be done on the building which is pretty extensive. He says a building inspector has determined that the bones of the building are still workable with a potential remodel.
“One thing he did mention was the walls. We haven’t looked at the walls but do know that on one south wall we did have some termite damage. The building’s got quite a bit of age and definitely needs something done,” he said.
What alleged rape accuser has âburnt in her memoryâ The woman whoâs accused NRL star Jack de Belin of sexually assaulting her has things that she alleges unfolded âburnt into her memoryâ, a court has heard.
Crime by Heath Parkes-Hupton 29th Apr 2021 1:36 PM A woman who alleges she was raped by NRL star Jack de Belin and his friend has the events that unfolded inside a North Wollonging unit that night burnt into her memory , a jury has been told. As the closing addresses began in the District Court trial of Mr de Belin, and his friend, Callan Sinclair, Crown prosecutor David Scully said it made sense for the woman not to remember every small detail of the night before and after the alleged sexual assault.

A man has told a court that footballer Jack de Belinâs accuser approached him in a nightclub before she was allegedly assaulted and said the footballer was âhotâ and she wanted to âget with himâ.
However, he later conceded part of his recollection of that night came to him in a flashback in a dream.
Mr de Belin and Callan Sinclair are on trial in the NSW District Court on five counts each of aggravated sexual assault after they allegedly assaulted the 19-year-old at a North Wollongong unit in the early hours of December 9, 2018, after meeting her at the Mr Crown nightclub during a Santa pub crawl.

A detective investigating Jack de Belin s rape case willfully lied giving evidence in the NRL star s first trial, a jury has been told.
De Belin s lawyer David Campbell SC described the officer s conduct as a gross departure from his job by not taking any notes of the first 90- minute conversation he had with the woman making the allegations. You knew full well as a police officer, your obligation is to make a record of a complaint received from a citizen, Mr Campbell said on Monday.
