Morrow County double homicide suspect in custody

MOUNT GILEAD A man has been arrested in connection with a double homicide that occurred early Monday morning in Morrow County.
Brian Lee has been taken into custody by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office in connection with that crime, according to Morrow County Sheriff John Hinton. He was apprehended in Columbus sometime after 8 p.m. Monday.
Earlier that morning Hinton posted on Facebook: “We are attempting to locate Brian Lee. If you see Brian or know his whereabouts please call 911. Do not approach, as he is considered armed and dangerous.”
The shootings occurred at approximately 4:25 a.m. in Harmony Township. Hinton said the deceased are a male and a female, no ages given. Two other people were injured in the shootings.

MORROW COUNTY, Ohio A man was taken into custody in Columbus Monday night after the Morrow County Sheriff s Office said he was wanted for questioning in two shootings that left two people dead and two people injured.
The Columbus Division of Police said officers apprehended Brian Lee with the help of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Sheriff John Hinton said the shootings happened on Monday around 4:25 a.m. in Harmony Township.
Hinton said a male and female were killed in the shootings. Their names have not been released.

Suspect in shootings at large in Morrow County

MOUNT GILEAD The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating shootings that took place overnight and are continuing a manhunt.
“We are attempting to locate Brian Lee. If you see Brian or know his whereabouts please call 911. Do not approach as he is considered armed and dangerous,” according to a Facebook post from Sheriff John Hinton.
Cardington-Lincoln Schools, as a precaution, is in lockdown.
Superintendent Brian Petrie issued a statement this morning:
“Due to a Law Enforcement situation at the east end of the district (area of CR 25, 26, TWP 232. The high school will be on modified lockdown until further notice. Elementary and Middle Schools are closed. More updates to come.”

At least six Southold Town Police Department employees are being questioned in an ongoing probe of the department’s response to community complaints about a sergeant’s retirement party last May, according to billing records filed with the town.
As of Feb. 23, a police sergeant, one police officer and two dispatchers had been deposed by outside counsel hired by the Town Board to conduct the investigation. Two more officers were scheduled to be deposed, according to the invoice filed by attorney Justin Block of the firm Messina, Pirillo and Hill.
