To quickly recap, Washington, D.C. chief medical examiner Francisco J. Diaz ruled that Sicknick “suffered two strokes and died of natural causes a day after he confronted rioters at the Jan. 6 insurrection,” according to a Washington Post report. In addition to that, Diaz told the Post that there was no evidence Sicknick had an allergic reaction to “chemical irritants” and that he saw “no evidence of internal or external injuries.” Though Diaz did state that “all that transpired” during the Capitol riots between rioters and police officers “played a role” in Sicknick’s condition, his findings dealt a serious blow to the left/media’s “murder” narrative concerning the officer’s death. ....
Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Saturday postponed its Class X and XII board exams indefinitely in view of the surge in Covid cases in the state. “We will review the Covid situation and take a further call on the matter on June 1,” JAC secretary Mahip Singh said. The exams were scheduled to begin from May 4. Singh assured that whichever date they decide to conduct the exams on, students will be given at least 15 days’ time to prepare. Around seven lakh students were scheduled to appear for the exams across 2,150 centres. Many pupils, teachers and even some JAC officials were pressing the council to defer/cancel the exams. ....
Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the Class X and Class XII practical examinations in view of the worsening Covid situation in the state. In a notification issued on Thursday, JAC said that further information in this regard would be shared soon. Notably, the practical examinations were underway since April 6. The decision of the state board came a day after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) postponed Class XII board examinations. Different sections of the civil society as well as political leaders, however, have urged the state government to altogether defer JAC Class X and Class XII main examinations, which are scheduled to start from May 4. Around seven lakh students are expected to appear in the board examinations across 2,150 centres in the state. ....
