Burglars stole HGV full of food from Rainford address FOUR burglars broke into an address before making off with a HGV containing a large amount of food goods. Detectives investigating the burglary in Rainford have issued CCTV images of three men they believe may have information to assist enquiries. At around 2.30am on Monday, January 4, it was reported that four men had gained entry to an address in Maggots Nook Road before making off with the HGV full of food goods. An investigation is ongoing and detectives are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch. Detective Inspector Jackie Guinness said: “A significant amount of goods were stolen following a burglary at an address in Rainford and I would ask anyone with information to come forward.
